Event wrap: TO26 Firebrand

Design and product people are a tough crowd.

Wired to critique. Not easily dazzled or distracted by shiny things. Still, TO26: Firebrand convinced 900 of them to gather in one place. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Like a red rag to a bull, we werenโ€™t about to miss it. We even found a new way to make a racket on the sponsor floor: arcade basketball and 30 seconds to beat the leaderboard. ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ“ฃ

Buzzers. Cheers. Groans. A competitive symphony, wild and glorious. Plenty tried to claim top spot and a $250 voucher, but UserTestingโ€™s Finn McClean put on an absolute clinic and walked away undisputed MVP.ย ๐Ÿ†โœŠ

Busy in our bustling corner, we relied on visitors to dish on the speaker sessions. Their glowing feedback told a story of a lineup that set a serious standard.

Some names were mentioned again and again ๐Ÿ”‚
Like Angela Bliss, who had people thinking a lot differently about AI agents.
Mo Ismail, whose Heidi story had them thinking differently about change itself. And Gareth O’Brien. His AI-powered work with Airbnb made a compelling case for human craft.

Huge props to The Outlook. Rather than coasting on 4 years of success, you floored it again ๐ŸŽ๏ธ ๐Ÿ™Œ Special thanks to all the faces, both new and familiar, who made our stand the place to be.

Weโ€™d do it all again tomorrow, but next year will have to do. โœŒ๏ธ
