Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you get to work with a person for 3 years.
Someone who’s good in the obvious ways. They’re reliable, switched on, and not once have you had to wonder what mysterious side quest they’re on.
But if you’re really lucky, you get 3 years with Thomas Clark.
Because then you also get the rare layer. The one that makes the team more solid, and puts a good mate in the middle of it all too. Tom’s thoughtful, generous, and incredibly good at the work. Better still at the part around the work. The care, the judgement, the steadiness. The part you can’t really train into someone.
