Programmable 2025. Us. A claw machine. Engineers forgetting they’re supposed to be adults.
Does life get better? ๐โโ๏ธ
Yesterday, for the second year running, we planted our black tablecloth at Programmable and witnessed firsthand how Melbourne’s Developer community balances serious learning with serious fun. Turns out the sequel is even sweeter than the original. Nearly 100 visitors to our stall and a cleaned-out merch table later, we’d call that a successful day. ๐
Victims of our stall’s popularity ๐ , we barely had time to slip away and catch the talks. However, a strategic escape made room for Aaron Sempf mapping the evolution of infrastructure deployment and Cail Young‘s breakdown of how to accidentally bring Kubernetes to a grinding halt. We also heard Garima Singh also knocked it out of the park with her Event-Driven Architectures session. [Mental note for next year: clone ourselves. ๐งช๐ฅ]
Big thanks to everyone who stopped by, especially our ticket winner Priya Sharma. The way you all pivoted from earnest note-taking during technical talks to arcade enthusiasm at the Claw King? A sight to behold. ๐โก๏ธ๐ฆพ
To Duncan Banks and the brilliant minds who managed to create this whole experience: The bar has been raised. Again.
Consider us already excited for next year! ๐
