Technical Lead

We’re helping our client expand their engineering capability for a key digital Loyalty & Rewards program, a 12-month pipeline of work blending architecture, design, and delivery across .NET and React ecosystems.
  
For the first 3-6 months, you’ll lead the technical discovery phase, defining integration patterns, designing solutions, and shaping the delivery roadmap. You’ll play a key role in the architecture and design documentation, facilitate workshops, and present technical approaches in architecture forums. You’ll then move into delivery, where you’ll get hands-on with code to bring your designs to life – so this role will suit a Technical Leader with both design, architecture and recent hands-on / coding experience.
  
You’ll be stepping into a complex, fast-moving environment with a mix of new initiatives and inherited technical systems, so comfort navigating ambiguity and simplifying complexity will be key.
  
What we’re looking for:

• Strong background across .NET Core and React / TypeScript, ideally with architectural ownership of digital platforms
• Proven experience in solution design and technical documentation
• Ability to run and facilitate stakeholder workshops and architecture reviews
• Experience designing integrations with loyalty or customer engagement platforms is highly regarded
• Solid understanding of integration technologies (e.g., Event-driven integration, APIs, microservices)
• Collaborative mindset, lean thinking, and ability to deliver at speed
• Hands-on capability – comfortable writing code where required
