Technical Business Analyst — Data & AI
We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing Data, AI & Loyalty division — bridging the gap between business stakeholders and data and analytics delivery teams within a major Australian retailer.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead discovery and requirements activities across data, analytics and AI initiatives, translating business needs into clear technical requirements including data mappings, business rules and data flows. Working closely with Data Engineering, BI Development and Data Science teams, you’ll support agile delivery from discovery through to implementation while embedding data governance and quality standards along the way.

What you’ll bring 

• Strong discovery, requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skills
• Practical SQL knowledge and familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes or enterprise data platforms
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Confidence working alongside data engineers, analysts and architects
• Familiarity with agile delivery from discovery to implementation
• Exposure to tools such as Snowflake, DBT, Salesforce or Oracle eBusiness Suite is advantageous
