We’re looking for a Staff Engineer to join a growing technology team and play a key role shaping architecture, mentoring engineers and driving the delivery of scalable, high-performance systems.
This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and technical leadership, working closely with product, design and engineering teams to build reliable platforms used at scale.
The role
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams
- Guide architecture decisions and system design
- Build and support scalable, distributed systems
- Mentor engineers and uplift engineering capability
- Drive best practices across coding, testing, security and DevOps
- Collaborate with product and design to improve end-to-end delivery
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Ruby on Rails/ AWS/ Typescript
- Proven experience designing scalable and high-performance systems
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges
