Our client is rolling out an off the shelf software platform for emergency services across Australia. This is a significant, multi-year implementation across multiple jurisdictions, requiring a hands-on Project Manager with strong delivery discipline and stakeholder savvy.
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of this critical project, ensuring milestones are met, stakeholders are aligned, and risks are well managed. The work is complex, visible, and genuinely impactful – and you’ll have the backing of an experienced internal team and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of a 34-month COTS implementation
- Manage full project lifecycle: scope, timelines, commercials, and reporting
- Interface with senior customer stakeholders across emergency services and roadside assistance
- Attend monthly steering committee meetings in Brisbane (travel required)
- Track deliverables, write contract variations (CRs), and ensure customer expectations are met
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of Project Management experience, ideally from the vendor side
- Proven experience with COTS implementations and delivery in Waterfall environments
- Familiarity with internal Agile SDLC processes (build, test, deploy)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to raise red flags early
- Experience working with emergency services, public sector or transport/roadside industries is a bonus
