  • Hybrid (Melbourne)

The Company
This high-performing business generates over $100 million in annual revenue through its e-commerce platform and is undergoing a major digital transformation. After working with external partners, the focus is now on building internal capability and bringing key tech functions in-house. With a modern stack already in place and a clean frontend codebase, the business is scaling fast and continuing to invest directly back into its team and technology. You’ll be joining a lean, collaborative group with a start-up mindset, backed by strong commercial traction and a national footprint.

The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll take ownership of a new, responsive React/Next.js web platform designed to replace legacy systems and support rapid growth. You’ll work alongside an experienced Head of Engineering, Tech Lead, and specialists across Product, CRO, and SEO to iterate quickly, ship high-quality features, and eventually help extend the platform’s capabilities through full-stack contributions. Current priorities include enhancing the booking journey, integrating real-time inventory, and replacing legacy CMS tools with a modern headless setup.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js in a production environment
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable frontend code
  • Familiarity with headless CMS and eCommerce architecture
  • Comfortable working across modern CI/CD pipelines, with an understanding of AWS and Stripe integrations
  • Willingness to collaborate closely with Product, Design, and CRO teams to continuously improve UX and conversion
  • A problem-solving mindset with a strong appreciation for performance, accessibility, and clean design systems
  • Experience navigating legacy systems and contributing to refactoring or replatforming efforts
  • Strong cultural fit is essential: a self-starter who thrives in a small, collaborative, low-ego team
