  • Established, mature digital and design function

The organisation
Bring your experience thinking to the next level within a large, purpose-driven organisation that’s deeply invested in digital transformation and customer experience. You’ll join a well-established digital and design function, working alongside talented product, engineering, research and content teams on initiatives that genuinely matter.

This is an environment where complexity is embraced, collaboration is the norm, and customer-centricity isn’t just a slogan — it’s embedded in how teams operate day to day. Flexible working is supported, and you’ll be trusted to balance impact, autonomy and sustainability in how you work.

The right candidate
You’re someone who naturally thinks in systems, journeys and patterns, able to zoom out to shape end-to-end experiences, then zoom back in to ensure teams can actually deliver them.
You’re comfortable operating between strategy and execution, translating big-picture experience direction into clear frameworks, models and artefacts that teams can use. You bring others along the journey through strong facilitation, clear storytelling and evidence-led thinking, and you’re trusted by senior stakeholders to help navigate complexity and trade-offs.
Above all, you’re passionate about creating experiences that work. for customers, for teams, and for the organisation.

About the role
As a Senior Experience Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how customer experiences are designed and delivered across channels. Sitting between senior design leadership and delivery teams, you’ll shape experience architecture, govern reusable patterns, and ensure journeys, information architecture and interaction models are scalable, consistent and customer-led.

You’ll work across discovery and delivery, embedding experience thinking into planning, prioritisation and execution, while partnering closely with product, engineering, research and content to ensure design intent translates into real outcomes.

  • Design and evolve omni-channel customer journeys spanning digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Create, govern and refine reusable experience and design patterns aligned to enabling platforms.
  • Embed information architecture and journey models into discovery, planning and delivery workflows.
  • Ensure architectural decisions are validated through customer research and testing.
  • Influence portfolio-level decisions through clear experience rationale and evidence.
