Our client is growing its Data & AI team and looking for a permanent Delivery Manager to lead delivery across its data and AI initiatives.
About the role
You’ll sit at the centre of data and AI delivery, partnering with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science and business stakeholders to keep initiatives moving from discovery through to production. You’ll own planning, dependency and risk management, stakeholder reporting, and the day-to-day delivery rhythm across multiple concurrent workstreams — bringing clarity and pace to complex, cross-functional delivery.
What you’ll do
Lead end-to-end delivery for data and AI initiatives. Manage dependencies, risks and issues across technical and business teams. People Leadership/ management – 6 direct reports.
Own status reporting and stakeholder communication, translating delivery progress into terms leadership can act on. Coach agile ways of working across the team while embedding governance appropriate to a large, complex organisation. Support release planning and delivery readiness.
What we’re looking for
Genuine agile delivery experience, ideally leading data platform, analytics or AI initiatives. Comfortable managing dependencies and stakeholders across both technical and business teams. Strong communication and reporting skills — able to run agile inward and present plans, risks and status outward. Experience embedding delivery governance and coaching teams in better ways of working.
Location & working arrangement
Melbourne based, hybrid — 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week.
