Salesforce Data Cloud Specialist
We have an exciting contract opportunity for a senior Salesforce Data Cloud Specialist to join a well-known Australian brand. Data Cloud is the highest priority for this engagement — we need someone who genuinely knows the platform and can lead the data modeling work that sits at the foundation of a major program delivery.
The Role
You’ll join a small, experienced team and own the Data Cloud delivery stream across multiple initiatives. With July launch on the horizon, the work is immediate and real. You’ll collaborate closely with the lead platform specialist and participate directly in project standups — picking up actions and delivering independently is part of the deal.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Data Cloud setup, configuration, and data modeling
- Design unified data models, identity resolution, and data stream integrations
- Support segmentation, activation, and calculated insights within Data Cloud
- Take on delivery actions in live project standups independently
- Handle BAU support and fast-follow work around a mid-July launch
- Collaborate with an experienced lead platform specialist and program teams
- Bring thought leadership to data architecture and platform strategy decisions
What We’re Looking for
- Salesforce Data Cloud — deep, hands-on delivery experience (highest priority)
- Data modeling capability — unified profiles, identity resolution, data streams (must have)
- Technical background — developer or technical consultant, on the tools
- Independent — comfortable picking up work without being directed
- Senior level — self-starter with the maturity to contribute from day one
- Melbourne-based — 3 days per week in office
