IT Asset Analyst | Major Healthcare Organisation | Sydney

A large, nationally recognised not-for-profit healthcare organisation is looking for an experienced IT Asset Analyst to join a growing Digital & Technology function at a genuinely interesting time they’re mid-way through an enterprise ITAM uplift and need someone who can hit the ground running.

The role

You’ll own end-to-end asset lifecycle management across a complex, multi-site environment spanning 44,000+ assets covering end-user devices, mobile fleets, medical peripherals, and licensed software. It’s operational, but with real scope to contribute to ITAM maturity, CMDB accuracy, and process improvement.

Day-to-day you’ll be working across HAM and SAM modules within the ITSM platform, maintaining asset records, managing Telco and licensing costs, supporting provisioning and disposal, and collaborating closely with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Procurement, and Finance. There’s also genuine exposure to governance and compliance think Essential Eight alignment, audit readiness, and vulnerability platform integration.

What they’re looking for

• 3+ years in IT asset management or a lifecycle-focused IT role
• Solid ITSM and CMDB platform experience (HAM/SAM modules)
• Working knowledge of software licensing (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.)
• Familiarity with Telco billing platforms and change control processes
• Strong data quality and documentation habits
• ITIL Foundation certification (v4 preferred)
• CITAM or equivalent ITAM certification

Bonus points for Tenable experience or a background in healthcare or enterprise environments.

The setup
Sydney-based with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site. Some after-hours and on-call rotation applies given the nature of the environment. This is a 4-month contract with an immediate start for the right candidate.
