Technical Implementation & Team Leader
We’re looking for a hands-on, technically astute leader to guide a high-performing implementation team delivering complex software solutions across Australia and New Zealand. If you thrive in delivery environments, can lead with empathy, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves technically, this is for you.
What You’ll Do As a Technical Team Leader:
- Lead and mentor a distributed implementation team across ANZ
- Oversee resourcing, team development, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Drive utilisation and delivery outcomes aligned to business strategy
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture
- Coordinate with customer success, sales, and delivery to manage resourcing and risk
As a Technical Leader:
- Define, configure, and implement complex enterprise-grade software solutions
- Act as a senior escalation point for solution design and delivery
- Deliver Level 3 application support where required
- Run customer workshops, training, and stakeholder engagements
- Participate in pre-sales activities and contribute to bids and proposals
- Ensure compliance with best practices in configuration, documentation, and transition to support
What You Bring
- Minimum 10 years in software implementation or technical consulting
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating technical teams
- Strong understanding of SDLC and project delivery methodologies
- Solid hands-on experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle), application servers, Windows environments, and scripting
- Experience with C#, .NET, XML development, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration practices
- Ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have
- SAFe, Microsoft, or database certifications
- Experience with GIT, TFS, VSTS, and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with CAD or complex command/control systems
- Background in consulting, pre-sales, or solution architecture
Why Join? You’ll join a team working on mission-critical systems with real-world impact. The role is equal parts leadership and technical challenge — ideal for someone who wants to remain close to delivery while building and developing a capable, engaged team.
