About the Role

 
A senior digital leader is sought to take ownership of digital sales strategy and performance across high-traffic web and mobile app channels. With digital already contributing significantly to business revenue, this role plays a vital part in shaping customer acquisition, conversion, and retention outcomes.
The Digital Sales Performance Lead will work closely with product squads and senior stakeholders to drive best-in-class funnel performance, champion customer-first improvements, and secure investment for high-impact initiatives. The role is accountable for aligning commercial goals with delivery capacity, ensuring compliance, and optimising the end-to-end digital join experience to meet both business and customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead digital sales strategy and funnel performance across multiple customer portfolios (e.g. domestic, international, corporate).
  • Identify growth opportunities to meet digital sales targets—conversion, new joins, channel share—and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product and CX teams to ensure customer-led solutions are embedded in delivery squads.
  • Develop and coordinate investment cases for digital initiatives, aligning with finance and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure the digital sales journey is optimised for performance, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strengthen collaboration between commercial and delivery teams to improve speed, clarity, and outcomes.
  • Participate in governance forums to monitor, report, and improve funnel and channel performance.
  • Manage digital risk and compliance requirements across acquisition and onboarding journeys.
  • Influence digital communications and customer education strategies to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Foster a test-and-learn culture with continuous optimisation of sales tactics and user journeys.

About You
 
The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset paired with deep digital experience—comfortable operating at the intersection of growth strategy, customer experience, and agile delivery. You’ll be hands-on with performance data, confident shaping funding decisions, and able to influence diverse stakeholders across product, design, marketing, and compliance.

You’ll bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital sales, performance, or growth leadership roles.
  • Proven success owning or influencing high-volume digital funnels across web and app.
  • Experience building and securing business cases for digital investment.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management across commercial, product, and compliance teams.
  • Familiarity with regulated or complex operating environments.
  • Experience in agile product development and digital delivery models.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to lead data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills at all levels of the organisation.
