We are working with a well-established company who are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to lead the evolution of their BI capability from a traditional, dashboard-led reporting function to a modern, insight-driven environment where stakeholders can actively engage, explore, and have conversations with their data.

This is a newly created, high-impact role at the centre of a broader data transformation. You will define and drive a step-change in how the business consumes insights shifting from static reporting to more intuitive, self-service and conversational analytics experiences. This includes rethinking how data is modelled, surfaced, and interacted with, leveraging modern BI tooling and emerging capabilities to make insights more accessible, dynamic, and actionable.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a BI function from the ground up, influence enterprise-wide decision-making, and play a pivotal role in redefining how data drives performance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BI team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Define, implement, and govern best practice BI patterns, standards, and development frameworks
  • Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable, insight-driven solutions
  • Design, develop, and optimise dashboards, reports, and semantic data models to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Act as a visualisation specialist, driving best practices in dashboard design, usability, and storytelling
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI outputs
  • Optimise performance of BI solutions, including data models, queries, and reporting layers
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality analytics solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. data engineering, analytics) to ensure scalable and efficient data solutions
  • Drive adoption of BI tools and promote self-service analytics capabilities across the business

Skills we are looking for:

  • Expertise in BI solution development (specifically Power BI)
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • Experience leading analytics projects that span the full delivery lifecycle
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience working in complex, data-rich environments 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms
  • People management, specifically in regards to uplifting capability
