Because when three iterate birthdays collide in quick succession, “October” feels too flimsy. And far too quiet for Sam Bowring’s birthday month. A man not only turning 30 on Sunday but also riding the wave of his first golf championship and second Hamish & Andy cameo.
This birthday milestone didn’t approach in a panic. It strolled in, poured a drink, and put its feet up.🍸🛋️ It didn’t ask for an act of surrender to adulthood, but Sam offered one anyway: he cut his hair. Over four years of careful neglect, undone at 3pm on a Friday.
Spiritually, he’s been 30 for years. But only now, hair freshly shorn and respectable, can you imagine him saying things like:
🥱 “I might just have an early one.”
🥴 “I can’t do shots anymore.”
🤔 “It’s time I invested in a cordless drill.”
Things he doesn’t mean yet, because he’s not 40.
Sam’s an old soul wrapped in motion, always unafraid to reinvent himself. He’s a big part of where iterate’s going, and why it still feels fun to get there. 🛣️🥳
